Ron Woering, CEO and owner

35 years ago, after studying medicine at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands Ron began his marketing and sales career with Lameris Instrumenten in Utrecht,Netherlands, the distributor for Stryker and Howmedica in the Netherlands at that time.
In 1977 Ron joined van Straten Medical BV in Nieuwegein as the Dutch Marketing and Sales Manager for Zimmer Orthopaedics . In 1984 they were so successful that Zimmer set up their own subsidiary in the Netherlands. Ron stayed with van Straten as Vice President Sales and Marketing responsible for DePuy Orthopaedics.
During this period Ron was involved with a group of surgeons in the design and development of a ceramic on ceramic coated artificial joint system that is now sold under the name ACCIS by Implantcast GmbH in Germany.
In 2006 after being vice president at the van Straten company for nearly 25 years, Ron founded the woering consultancy Consultancy to provide services to the health care industry.
